Job Summary
IT System Engineer – Storage role focused on administering, operating, and enhancing storage infrastructure within a secure, international environment. Responsibilities include administration, operation, and development of storage systems; diagnosing and resolving system and performance issues; optimizing and automating technologies and processes; supporting technical projects and infrastructure initiatives; collaborating with internal and international teams; contributing to implementations of new concepts and technologies. Requires 1.5+ years’ experience, experience with IT system environments (storage focus preferred), Linux or scripting knowledge beneficial, shift availability, fluent English, and eligibility to work in Germany (EU/NATO nationals). Hybrid/Remote work options in Mannheim, Leipzig, or Dresden, Germany.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1.5 years of relevant professional experience
- Experience working with IT system environments, ideally within storage infrastructure
- Knowledge of infrastructure technologies, Linux or scripting is beneficial
- Shift availability required
- Fluent English
- Already based in Germany near Mannheim, Leipzig or Dresden, or willing to relocate
- Residence and work eligibility within Germany required
- EU or NATO nationals can be considered
