IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Manage authentication and authorization for end user systems by administering the IAM stack, including Okta (SSO, MFA, provisioning/deprovisioning), and core collaboration platforms like Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom. Support endpoint management across macOS and Windows fleets using MDM tooling for device enrollment, configuration, and compliance. Manage the lifecycle of SaaS applications from onboarding through decommissioning while contributing to automation efforts that reduce manual toil. Triage and resolve escalated IT issues from the Helpdesk team, serving as the technical escalation path for access, device, and application problems. Develop and maintain IT documentation, SOPs, and runbooks while identifying gaps in process and tooling to drive improvements.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years in an IT systems or IT engineering role
- exposure to IAM
- exposure to endpoint management
- exposure to SaaS administration
- Working knowledge of Okta — SSO, MFA, and user lifecycle basics
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and Slack administration
- Some experience with MDM platforms (Jamf, Intune, or equivalent) for device management and compliance
- Comfort working across multiple SaaS platforms and managing vendor relationships at an operational level
- Experience using APIs or no-code tools to automate manual tasks
- Good documentation habits
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- ability to work cross-functionally with non-technical stakeholders
- Self-directed and eager to grow
- comfortable asking for help and ramping quickly in unfamiliar areas
- Candidates must be based in Guadalajara
- ability to occasionally be onsite in our Guadalajara, Mexico office as needed
Desired Qualifications
- experience with Okta Workflows or SCIM
- familiarity with Microsoft 365
- Relevant certifications: Okta Certified Professional, Google Workspace Administrator, or Slack Certified Admin
