IT Systems Engineer

Job Summary
Design and maintain IT infrastructure across multiple sites, managing mixed Cisco and Ubiquiti networks while ensuring proper configuration and efficiency. Lead infrastructure modernization, lifecycle replacement, and hardware installation, including support for warehouse scanners, mobile devices, and printers. Operate safely in manufacturing environments by adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices and Occupational Safety standards. Troubleshoot complex network, latency, and wireless issues; manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP; and handle VPN and remote access configurations. Respond to outages, security incidents, and operational disruptions while maintaining current network diagrams and SOPs. Assist with infrastructure planning, budgeting, and vendor evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
- Physical abilities to include the ability to lift 50 lbs (23 Kg), able to climb several flights of stairs and not affected by heights
- Strong troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills
- Experience with Entra ID, Intune, Cisco Duo and VPN technologies
- Experience in a multi-site network environment
- Ability to analyze data and contribute to strategic decision-making
- Excellent communication, organizational, management, and computer skills
- Ability to interact professionally and effectively with internal and external customers
- Act with humility, honesty, integrity, and a commitment to safety
Desired Qualifications
- Five (5) years experience in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering or Infrastructure Administration preferred
- Ubiquiti networking experience preferred
