Job Summary
Design and implement new infrastructure to accommodate growth, while decommissioning end-of-life systems and maintaining patching paths for enterprise tools. Provide advanced Tier 3 troubleshooting for the desktop team and enforce strategies for monitoring, testing, and troubleshooting application performance, security, backup, and high availability. Plan and implement new efforts set forth by leadership, working collaboratively with engineering and program leads to ensure systems adhere to CMMC 2.0, Dfars, and NIST 800-171 standards. This role supports Zone 5 Technologies' development of autonomous unmanned aircraft systems within a DOD environment.
Required Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field
- five or more years' of work experience as a IT Systems Engineer or related position
- solid understanding of enterprise IT architecture
- Proficiency in a broad range of infrastructure tools and technologies, including firewalls, routing, switching, wireless, and authentication
- server operating systems including Windows and Linux
- programming languages such as Python or Powershell
- Proficient in Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems
- AWS, Azure, and Office 365
- Proficient in vlans, VPN technologies, Firewalls, and networking best practices in a DOW environment
- Familiarity with CMMC 2.0 and Dfars 252.204-712 and NIST 800-171. ISO 27001, and ITAR beneficial
- U.S. Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), CompTIA or other industry certifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a government regulated industry or similar high security industry
