Job Summary
Architect, deploy, and maintain Windows and Linux server environments across physical, virtual, and cloud-based platforms. Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and identity services while overseeing patching strategies and OS lifecycle management. Monitor performance, logs, and alerts to troubleshoot complex issues, enforce security best practices, and support backup and disaster recovery planning. Collaborate on infrastructure roadmaps, maintain detailed documentation, and provide tier-3 support for escalated incidents. Participate in on-call rotation as required. This role ensures high availability, reliability, and strong security across on-premises and cloud systems, with opportunities to mentor junior team members and drive scalable IT service delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 + years of experience administering enterprise-level server environments
- Strong proficiency with Windows Server and Linux environments
- Expertise with virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere or Hyper-V
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, file systems, and Group Policy
- Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, routing, firewalls)
- Experience with backups and disaster recovery technologies
- Ability to manage complex technical projects with minimal supervision
- Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills
- Self-starter
- 100% in office requirement
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the United States
