Job Summary
Manage and maintain server infrastructure (Windows Server, Linux) and virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V). Administer and support network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Implement and monitor cybersecurity measures, including endpoint protection, intrusion detection, and vulnerability management. Provide technical support for manufacturing systems, including SCADA, MES, and industrial control systems. Manage and maintain data backup and recovery solutions, ensuring business continuity and disaster recovery. Administer user accounts, permissions, and group policies within Active Directory and other identity management systems. Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues across the IT environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT system administration, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Office 365 administration
- Experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP), firewalls, and VPN solutions
- Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues in a production setting
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SCADA or MES systems
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols (e.g., Modbus TCP/IP, EtherNet/IP)
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices for operational technology (OT) environments
- Experience with virtualization technologies in an industrial setting (e.g., VMware vSphere, Hyper-V)
