IT Systems Administrator — Manufacturing & ERP

Job Summary
Monitor and maintain computer networks, information systems, security, and overall system health while providing hands-on help-desk support for hardware, software, desktop, printer, and user issues. Administer Microsoft 365, Microsoft Teams, and Teams-based phone systems, and support ERP applications, databases, integrations, and customizations using SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and Visual Studio. Troubleshoot ERP and application issues, coordinate with users and vendors, and gather business requirements to develop solutions that improve operational efficiency. Identify opportunities to automate manual processes, evaluate hardware and software needs, and analyze systems for cybersecurity vulnerabilities. Educate employees on technology resources and support business continuity, disaster recovery, and data protection initiatives. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Operations, Accounting, and other departments on technology and ERP improvement projects.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in systems administration, IT support, or a related technical role
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
- Hands-on experience supporting ERP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Strong systems administration, troubleshooting, and end-user support experience
- Experience administering Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Teams
- Working experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS, and/or Visual Studio
- Ability to understand, troubleshoot, and modify code or system customizations when required
- Strong communication, organization, documentation, and customer-service skills
- Ability to manage multiple technical priorities in a hands-on manufacturing environment
- Ability to work full-time onsite in Southeast Houston
