Job Summary
Administer and maintain Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP. Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. Implement and maintain system security protocols, including regular vulnerability assessments and patch management. Provide technical support and resolution for hardware, software, and network issues for manufacturing operations. Develop and maintain system documentation, including configurations, procedures, and disaster recovery plans. Oversee data backup and recovery operations to ensure business continuity and data integrity. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology and 3+ years of IT systems administration experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment. Salary range is $70,000 - $109,000 depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in IT systems administration, preferably within a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V)
- Familiarity with industrial control systems (ICS) and operational technology (OT) security best practices
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex hardware and software issues
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.) specific to manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of SCADA, MES, or other industrial control systems
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in an OT (Operational Technology) context
- Certifications in industrial networking (e.g., CCNA Industrial, CompTIA Industrial Cybersecurity)
- Experience with virtualization technologies in a production-critical environment
