Job Summary
Manage Microsoft server environments, including configuration, maintenance, and support in virtual settings like VMWare, while configuring user/group settings, folder permissions, and IIS functionality. Implement Woolpert Best Practices for projects and processes, and ensure mobile and tablet connectivity by setting up local routers for iOS and Android devices. Handle SQL database backups, restores, and installations on new virtual machines according to software specifications. Maintain foundational knowledge of enterprise infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and DMZs. This role requires a BA/BS degree with four to eight years of experience, proficiency in Azure Virtual Desktop, and strong organizational skills to work independently in a fast-paced, customer-order-driven environment. Location is Dayton or Cincinnati, Ohio.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS degree in a related field
- four (4) years related experience
- eight (8) years related experience
- Experience creating and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktop (WVD) environments
- Ability to work in a team environment with associates both on-site and remote
- Perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in a dynamic environment
- Professional experience working with Microsoft Azure environment
- creating and supporting virtual devices Microsoft O365 (M365) environment
- Knowledge of Cityworks installation
- ITIL certified
- Strong organizational, time management, attention to detail and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

- Self-starter capable of working in a fast paced, customer order driven environment
