Job Summary
IT Systems Administrator responsible for maintaining and administering euNetworks' IT infrastructure across Europe. The role covers on-premises Windows Server administration (Active Directory, Group Policy, SMB, RDS) and on-premised systems like NMS, GIS, and Finance platforms, as well as cloud/hybrid environments (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Entra ID/Azure AD Connect). Responsibilities include delivering second-line staff support via ticketing, troubleshooting across Windows and macOS, designing/deploying automation with Python/PowerShell, building API integrations between internal and third-party systems, managing network gear (switches, firewalls, Cisco Meraki), MDM (Microsoft Intune) and mobile devices, and maintaining security tooling, patching, vulnerability remediation, IAM/PAM, and EDR. The role also involves participation in compliance processes, asset management, and procurement activities. The position is based in Sofia, Bulgaria, and entails full-time work with an emphasis on collaboration across Europe and potential adoption of new technologies, including AI-driven platforms and automation tools.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in IT / systems administration
- Strong hands-on experience with on-premises Windows Server administration: Active Directory, Group Policy, SMB, RDS
- Experience with cloud platforms and hybrid environments (Microsoft 365 / Entra ID)
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Intune
- Experience with API configuration and system integrations
- Familiarity with security tooling and best practices
- Fluent English is essential
- Good communication skills and a collaborative team player
- Nice to Have: Scripting skills in Python, PowerShell, or similar languages
- Experience with Linux system administration
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
- Experience with infrastructure automation and CI/CD tooling
- Awareness of ISO 27001 or equivalent information security frameworks
