IT System Engineer

Liaise with vendors and IT personnel for technical projects and problem resolution while identifying recommendations to meet business objectives. Install, configure, test, and troubleshoot networks, servers, and infrastructure; monitor service availability and performance against agreed levels. Test and implement security patches for operating systems and network devices, conducting ongoing threat assessments to improve computing security. Analyze critical logs, investigate technical issues, and maintain security, backup, and redundancy strategies. Update technical documentation covering infrastructure and contracts, while participating in capacity planning, disaster recovery execution, and testing. Evaluate new technologies to improve IT operations and attend to escalated service tickets. Requires a diploma or degree in IT with at least one year of hands-on experience supporting networks, servers, and OS, including familiarity with Windows Servers, virtualization, and Fortinet firewalls.
