Job Summary
IT System Administrator with responsibility for operating and securing our on-prem and cloud IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and storage. Core duties include configuring and maintaining systems, implementing patches and security controls, managing backups/disaster recovery, IAM practices, and providing on-site and remote end-user support (onboarding/offboarding). The role emphasizes monitoring, troubleshooting, documentation, and contributing to security/compliance efforts in collaboration with the IT/security team. A hybrid work policy is in place, with the role requiring in-office presence four days per week. Technologies include Google Cloud Platform, Proxmox virtualization on Dell hardware, Mac hardware, Docker, Intune, NinjaOne, Mosyle, and a mix of Linux, Windows, and macOS environments.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in system administration and IT support
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS) and virtualization
- Experience with cloud/on-prem infrastructure
- Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python) and automation
- Experience with security principles, patch management, and audits
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English
