Job Summary
Monitor system health, including server, storage, and network performance to prevent issues. Manage the trouble ticket system, perform maintenance, enhancements, and technical support on existing hardware and software. Assist with system updates, backups, installations, and implementations of software and hardware. Oversee regular data backups and ensure swift recovery in case of system failures. Implement security controls, manage user permissions, and ensure data integrity. Canadian Valley Electric Cooperative is building a team for a transformation in utility operations, embracing grid automation and enhanced communications to support economic growth in areas east of Oklahoma City.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Systems or other related field
Desired Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience preferred
- Experience in engineering fields of electric distribution design and Short/Long Range Planning strongly preferred
