Job Summary
Provide IT helpdesk support onsite and remotely to end-users across sites globally, including configuring and maintaining desktops, laptops, virtual machines, printers, and phones; manage user accounts and access, document common issues and solutions, and support the IT infrastructure team with patching and maintenance; ensure adherence to Information Assurance guidelines; provide after-hours on-call support as required; require Active Top Secret clearance with CI polygraph, U.S. citizenship, and DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (or ability to obtain within 2 months); 1+ year IT help-desk experience; strong customer service and communication skills; familiarity with Windows and Linux environments, Office 365, VMWare ESXi/vCenter, AD/Group Policy, and hardware repair; ability to work 100% on-site in a secure facility.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top Secret Security Clearance with SSBI with CI Polygraph
- Requires U.S. Citizenship and full background investigation
- Minimum one (1) year of experience in an IT help-desk environment
- Ability to assess, triage, and resolve common technical issues
- Experience imaging, configuring, and repairing PCs, including basic hardware upgrades (hard drive, RAM)
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to interact with both internal and external customers
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Current DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 baseline certification (eg Security+ CE) or ability to obtain within 2 months of start date
- Associate's degree in Information Technology related field
- Experience providing support in an environment with multiple isolated networks
- Experience supporting a Microsoft Windows-based environment (Windows 11, Terminal Services, Active Directory, and Group Policy)
- Experience supporting Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu) workstations and servers
- Experience administering Microsoft Office365
- Experience creating and maintaining VMs in VMWare ESXi/vCenter
- Experience performing switch port changes or basic network switch configuration
- Experience using IT Service Management tracking software
- Hardware repair certification (such as Dell TechDirect)
