Job Summary
IT Support Technician role providing hands-on end-user support and help-desk services across Orange and Lake Counties. Responsibilities include responding to tickets for account access, password resets, application configuration, troubleshooting hardware and software on desktops/laptops, on-site and remote user support, asset management, AD and cloud-based license administration, and basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) with VPN. Travel to client locations for on-site deployments, hardware setup, and service delivery. Requires pursuing or having an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field, plus familiarity with Windows 10/11, hardware troubleshooting, and strong customer-facing communication. Certifications like CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Fundamentals are a plus but not required. Valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 40 lbs are required. Authorized to work in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Administration, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or similar) are a plus but not required
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel within Orange and Lake Counties
- Ability to lift and carry IT equipment (up to 40 lbs)
- Authorized to work in the United States
- Knowledge & Skills: Familiarity with networking concepts and topology, including LANs, WANs, routers, switches, and wireless access points
- Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-first attitude
- Good written and verbal communication skills
