Job Summary
IT Support Specialist provides end-user support across desktops, laptops, and mobile devices; handles network connectivity and AV requests; delivers training and user assistance; maintains desktop computing environments, Active Directory, and group policy needs; responsible for hardware/software inventory, coordination of repairs, and collaboration with IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network and software products; requires strong customer service, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and with others; role emphasizes supporting Yale's client departments and maintaining up-to-date technology knowledge and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Eight years of related experience, six of them in the same job family at the next lower level and a high school level education, or six years of related experience and an Associates degree; or two years of related work experience and a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
