Job Summary
Onsite IT Support Specialist provides end-user software support and troubleshooting in a virtual desktop environment, handling help desk calls, password resets, access issues, and hardware questions for devices such as virtual desktops, laptops, and iPhones. The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to learn quickly, and collaboration with IT team members to escalate or resolve recurring issues; reports to the AVP, IT Manager at the Livermore Headquarters Office. Benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401k with company match, and other programs. Compensation is $27.50-$34 per hour DOE.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma, GED, or equivalent
- college level computer coursework or relevant experience a plus
- Knowledge of common help desk topics related to Virtual Desktop, Active Directory and Windows365
- Experience in a help desk related assignment assisting end users with technology related FAQs and troubleshooting
