Job Summary
IT Support Specialist role combines hands-on help desk duties with governance-focused admin work for a federal cyber-security compliance effort (CMMC 2.0 Level 2). Responsibilities include resolving everyday tech issues, collecting and organizing evidence for security audits, formatting and updating System Security Plans (SSPs) and IT policy manuals, coordinating mandatory cybersecurity training and tracking completion, and performing user access audits to ensure only active staff have access. The position is entry-level, with training provided, and requires strong organizational and written communication skills, plus proficiency with the Microsoft 365 suite (Word, Excel, SharePoint).
