Job Summary

IT Support Specialist responsibilities include overseeing IT procurement (purchasing, payments, inventory, contracts), providing secondary Help Desk support, supporting the Microsoft 365 environment, maintaining IT documentation and the IT website, coordinating IT events, scheduling and supporting IT meetings, ensuring compliance with security standards and college policies, and performing related duties to support IT operations at Roanoke College. Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree (Bachelor’s preferred), at least 3 years in business-related experience and 2 years of IT experience, with higher education experience preferred; strong communication and client service skills are expected.

  • Minimum of 2 years of IT related experience
  • Experience in higher Education preferred
