Job Summary
IT Support Specialist at Mount Marty University provides overall technology support to staff, faculty and students for the IT Department. Responsibilities include managing issue tracking, assisting with hardware and software-related problems, tracking inventory of computers and devices, maintaining classroom technology and video conferencing systems, administering basic telephone systems, coordinating tasks for work-study students, maintaining IT knowledge bases and helpdesk documentation, ensuring network and server reliability, providing after-hours maintenance for critical systems, and supporting audiovisual setup for on-campus events and training platforms. Requires familiarity with a variety of software, operating systems and AV equipment, strong customer service skills, and the ability to adapt to a changing environment. An Associate or Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
