Job Summary
Research technical needs and resources for Killington/Pico Ski Resorts, then provide recommendations for hardware and software solutions. Install, configure, and maintain POS systems, RFID infrastructure, music streaming devices, and IP cameras across the resort properties. Respond to trouble tickets, emails, and phone requests via Zendesk, documenting and tracking issues to ensure timely resolution. Perform ongoing maintenance of desktops, laptops, and cabling while maintaining system documentation. Participate in on-call rotations to address off-hours support needs. Confer with supervisors, departments, and external firms to coordinate activities and resolve problems.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in computer science or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
- Experience with Windows OS
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- Must have a valid driver's license and be able to provide their own transportation for intra-resort travel
- Knowledge of basic networking concepts
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in written and spoken English
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong troubleshooting ability
- Capacity to learn quickly
- Solid working knowledge of PC/Laptop/Tablet hardware and peripherals
