Job Summary
IT Support Specialist III (Elk Ridge) leads advanced desktop, application, and site IT support across multiple locations; responsibilities include troubleshooting Windows/hardware/applications, on-site liaison to network/server teams, advanced diagnostic and upgrade work, Active Directory/Group Policy endpoint management, server/network upgrades, documentation, mentoring Level I/II staff, coordinating vendors/contractors, and ensuring high availability and IT security aligned with Joint Commission standards. Requires travel flexibility to regional locations; credentialing includes fingerprint clearance and relevant certifications (A+/Net+/Sec+ preferred). Strong communication, technical leadership, and customer-focused support in a healthcare environment are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Certification in one or more advanced technical specialties related to the role
- CompTIA A+ (Preferred)
- CompTIA Net+ (Preferred)
- CompTIA Sec+ (Preferred)
- Experience with Windows operating systems
- Active Directory
- Group Policy
- End user desktop management
- IT security best practices
- Healthcare environment experience (preferred)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related field (preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
