Job Summary
The IT Support Specialist supports the Enterprise network on Cisco platforms and collaborates with Managed Service Providers to maintain and improve infrastructure at satellite locations. This role involves a high level of design and implementation of data centers using vSphere and Horizon view.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Two (2) to four (4) years of IT experience in manufacturing, engineering or related industry.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous project management experience with implementation of enterprise solutions and enhancements preferred.
- Experience with VMware technologies
- Knowledge of computer and/or network security systems, applications, procedures and techniques
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with staff, vendors and peers.
- Strong attention to detail and solid follow-up capabilities.
