Job Summary
Deliver advanced technical support and troubleshooting for end users at Legrand's Denver facilities and provide remote assistance for global sites. Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and software issues while maintaining and repairing computers and peripheral devices. Manage cybersecurity vulnerabilities, facilitate new employee onboarding, and coordinate maintenance with third-party vendors. Maintain accurate IT equipment inventory and install software to optimize system performance. This role supports Legrand's Data, Power, and Control division, requiring on-site presence from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM M-F with occasional travel to other Legrand locations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience
- Minimum four (4) years of IT user support experience
- Ability to lift, move and/or transport equipment weighing up to 25 pounds
- Ability to install/remove equipment and/or related wiring underneath desks or other confined areas with limited space
- Ability to engage in repetitive bending and/or twisting to assemble, assess, maintain or disassemble equipment and/or wiring
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time
- Occasional travel to other Legrand locations
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred experience supporting Windows servers and network environments
- Working understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP network protocols
- Familiarity with ITSM principles and best practices
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment while managing multiple priorities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
- Skilled at diagnosing and resolving complex technical problems
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification preferred
