Job Summary
Ensure smooth running of the company's computer systems by installing, configuring hardware, operating systems, and applications while monitoring office and ship networks. Provide technical support to shore and sea staff to troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and assist in preparing IT policies and disaster recovery operations. Configure and upgrade security devices including routers, switches, firewalls, and anti-virus software. Implement new information system management software and attend to assigned projects. This role supports vessels owned or operated by the company, requiring a minimum of one year of relevant experience and a diploma in a related discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
- Minimum Diploma in related discipline
- A team player with good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in setting up and running new info-software systems
