Job Summary
IT Support (Level 1) based in Sherwood Park, AB overseeing internal IT assistance, system configuration and updates, data backup management, and Microsoft 365/SharePoint support. You will troubleshoot problems, triage inquiries, and collaborate with external IT specialists while maintaining cybersecurity measures and SOC audit support. The role emphasizes hands-on support, clear communication, independent yet collaborative work, and proactive documentation across in-house tech, servers, routers, and assets. Prioritize enabling high-performing teams through reliable IT services, informed by experience with Microsoft tools, ticketing systems (e.g., Zendesk), and a service-oriented mindset.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working as a Level 1 IT support or in a similar role
- Excellent working knowledge of computer systems, network and systems administration, databases and data storage systems, and phone systems
- Familiarity with ticketing systems like Zendesk or equivalent
- Post-secondary education in IT related field is an asset
