Job Summary

Manage the SOMTC IT Operations Branch and direct technical teams supporting military information systems. Develop and maintain the organization's cybersecurity program, conduct risk assessments, and implement security controls while monitoring systems for incidents. Oversee complex datacenter environments, server virtualization, and network infrastructure, ensuring compliance with DoD guidance and cybersecurity laws. Coordinate with Government personnel and stakeholders to protect information systems and data. Delegate tasks, monitor team performance, and provide cybersecurity training to personnel. This role requires active Secret clearance and is contingent on contract award.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology-related field
  • Associate degree in an Information Technology-related field and at least 10 years of IT Lead experience
  • Minimum of four years of experience in a formal supervisory role managing technical teams responsible for military information systems
  • Demonstrated program-management experience, including task delegation, performance tracking, and personnel development
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing the planning, implementation, and maintenance of complex datacenter environments
  • Experience with server virtualization, network infrastructure, and storage systems
  • Cybersecurity principles, methodologies, and best practices
  • Risk-management frameworks, including the NIST Risk Management Framework
  • Cybersecurity laws, regulations, and standards
  • DoD cybersecurity policies and guidance
  • Network-security architecture and technologies
  • Security incident-response and handling procedures
  • Vulnerability-management and penetration-testing methodologies
  • Security assessment and authorization processes
  • Disaster-recovery and business-continuity planning
  • Cybersecurity awareness and training
  • Technical project and personnel management
  • Strong communication, coordination, and leadership skills
  • Current certification meeting the requirements for the DCWF Information Systems Security Manager, Work Role 722, at the Intermediate or Advanced proficiency level
  • CISSP
  • CISM
  • Equivalent qualifying certification
  • At least 20 hours of Continuous Professional Development annually, or the amount required to maintain the applicable certification, whichever is greater
  • On-site work in Government-controlled facilities
  • Compliance with applicable DoD, Army, USSOCOM, USASOC, installation, cybersecurity, personnel-security, CAC, and information-system access requirements
  • Availability for work beyond normal operating hours
  • Occasional weekend support
  • Surge support
  • Support for simultaneous events
  • Prior Government approval for telework (if applicable)
  • Ability to work from a primary worksite (classified work not authorized from alternate worksite)
  • Occasional travel to support mission activities
