Job Summary
IT Support Intern provides a first-line help desk across multiple offices and locations, handling phone and email requests, replacing backup tapes, assisting with workstation installations, and delivering end-user training. The role supports various software applications and Windows operating systems (MS Office, Access, Excel, Word, Exchange), antivirus/malware defenses, and AS/400 environments, with emphasis on documenting all Help Desk requests and maintaining effective relationships with employees and vendors. Must demonstrate attention to detail, willingness to learn IT processes, and strong written/verbal communication skills; valid Texas driver’s license required.
Required Qualifications
- Working towards a Two-year or Four-year college diploma or degree in technology related field.
