Job Summary
Assist senior technical staff in installing, configuring, and supporting network servers, auxiliary consoles, and peripheral equipment across multiple online network systems. Provide 24-hour per day on-call support while on rotation, troubleshooting and initiating repairs for hardware, software, and telephony devices. Process IT requests for new users, including workstations, printers, and phones, while managing tickets in the incident tracking system. Guide Level 1 technicians and lead Operations projects as assigned. Create and terminate user accounts across business applications, maintain documentation, and perform backup, recovery, and systems monitoring. Travel locally and occasionally out-of-area to all properties daily.
Required Qualifications
- 2-4 years experience related to Helpdesk, or other technical job-related work experience
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to read, write and speak English at a level necessary for satisfactory job performance
- Ability to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships
- Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
- Must be able to manage several different tasks at once
- Knowledge of telecommunications
- Knowledge of networking
- Demonstrate aptitude for continuous learning and innovative thinking
- Must have flexible availability
- Must be able to work independent with less detailed supervision
- Must be able to provide direction and training to Level 1 technicians
- Must be able to provide 24 hour per day on-call support while on on-call rotation
- Experience terminating structured cabling
- Nevada Gaming Registration
- Must be able to work irregular hours including Day, Swing, Grave shifts, and shifts in excess of 10 hours
- Must be willing and able to travel to all properties daily
