Job Summary
Respond to Service Desk requests by prioritizing, troubleshooting, and resolving end-user hardware, software, network, and technology issues while escalating complex problems as appropriate. Configure, deploy, and support end-user devices, including Windows and macOS computers, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals. Maintain user accounts and system access using Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID, and manage technology asset lifecycles. Develop technical documentation and standard operating procedures to support IT services. Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical users while identifying process improvements to enhance Service Desk efficiency. This role supports daily business operations across Maravai LifeSciences, a global leader in nucleic acid production and biologics safety testing, within a biotechnology and laboratory environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, and experience
- 3+ years of IT support, Service Desk, or technical support experience
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, Microsoft 365, mobile devices, printers, peripherals, and common business applications
- Working knowledge of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Basic TCP/IP networking, endpoint management, and user account administration
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot end user hardware, software, operating systems and network connectivity
- Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Experience utilizing IT ticketing systems, knowledge management tools, and standard IT support practices

Desired Qualifications
- CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or related certifications preferred
- Experience supporting biotechnology, laboratory, manufacturing, or other regulated business environments preferred
