Job Summary
IT Support Engineer in Swansea, UK, provides first- and second-line technical support to customers, handles hardware and software support for laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices, conducts on-site visits for troubleshooting and repairs, escalates issues to Senior Technicians or vendors when necessary, and maintains up-to-date knowledge of IT trends. The role requires travel to client sites, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks in a customer-facing environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years (minimum) of experience in IT support is required for this role
- Familiarity with hardware components including laptops, desktops, servers, storage devices, and network devices
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed (via company Uber account)
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

- Familiarity with Halo PSA, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Fortinet, Datto (RMM, DR, Networking) is a plus
- Experience with installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT hardware and software
- Ability to document issues and solutions clearly
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Proactive problem-solving mindset
- Team collaboration and cross-functional communication
- Experience in MSP environments would be beneficial
