IT Support Engineer

Job Summary
Design, implement, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure (servers, networks, storage, and virtualization); develop configurations, standards, and procedures for performance, security, and compliance; monitor performance and resolve issues to minimize downtime; collaborate with IT teams to integrate new technologies; provide technical support to end-users and troubleshoot hardware/software; manage backups, disaster recovery, and data security; mentor the IT Support team and drive improvements; stay current with trends and best practices; liaise with cross-functional partners to deliver solutions; participate in weekly IT Support standups and prepare reports.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of IT infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenance
- Experience providing world class technical support to internal customers
- Solid understanding of networking concepts and technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, VPNs)
- Proficiency in server administration and virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, KVM)
- Experience with cloud platforms and services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Strong knowledge of MacOS, Windows, and Linux operating systems
- Scripting experience (PowerShell, Bash)
- Experience with Mobile Device Management systems (Kandji, Jamf)
- Experience owning a Full Lifecycle Asset Management program
- Familiarity with ITIL framework and IT service management principles
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally with teams (Engineering, SRE, GRC)
- Ability to work strategically in a fast-paced environment
