Job Summary
Onsite IT Support Engineer for Darmstadt office providing hands-on 1st and 2nd level end-user IT support, hardware/software/workplace setup, device lifecycle management, local IT infrastructure (networks, servers, ISP), onboarding, and support for laboratory environments. Responsible for documentation, testing, training, bug tracking in ServiceNow, vulnerability management support, and global user support while maintaining asset inventory. Requires degree in IT field or equivalent qualification and fluency in English and German; hands-on IT support experience and ability to work independently in a structured, efficient manner.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in IT field or equivalent qualification
- First hands-on experience in IT support or a similar role
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and service management processes
- Fluency in English and German
- Availability to work on-site and provide hands-on support
