Job Summary
Provide comprehensive Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to Zimmerman employees, managing on-site IT inventory and overseeing the full lifecycle of assets including tracking, maintenance, deployment, and secure decommissioning. Procure, configure, and deploy end-user computing devices, while diagnosing and resolving software and hardware issues onsite or remotely to ensure minimal business disruption. Configure, support, and troubleshoot printing environments and provide foundational network support for device connectivity and VLAN-level configuration. Collaborate with engineering teams to design new workflows and maintain technical documentation translating complex concepts for non-technical users. This role supports mission-critical operations in a fast-paced environment, requiring experience with macOS, iOS, Linux, and Microsoft technologies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- 2-3 years of professional experience building, deploying, and troubleshooting computer systems, hardware, printers, software, and IP networks within an enterprise environment
- Experience supporting Microsoft technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience supporting macOS, iOS, and Linux-based environments within an enterprise setting
- Relevant technical certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE), or equivalent credentials
- Working knowledge of audio-visual systems and conference room technologies, including setup, troubleshooting, and end-user support
- Experience supporting mission-critical and sensitive systems, with the ability to respond with appropriate urgency and maintain operational continuity
- Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain composure in a high-interruption, fast-paced environment
- Strong written, verbal, and telephone communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally across all levels of the organization due to the high-visibility nature of the role
