Job Summary
IT Support Engineer responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of IT systems. You will manage IT procurement (laptops, accessories, software licenses), set up and configure business equipment, maintain IT asset inventory, provide first-line technical support (hardware, software, network), run day-to-day IT operations (monitoring, patching, updates), deliver basic security awareness training, maintain IT documentation and knowledge bases, collaborate with Engineering and other teams for system integration, support onboarding/offboarding from a technical perspective, and contribute to IT projects and future infrastructure improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in IT support or systems engineering
- Strong working knowledge of configuring laptops, managing software licenses, and supporting business-critical tools
- Confident troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network issues across Windows and macOS environments
- Familiarity with IT procurement processes and asset lifecycle management
- Understanding of basic security principles and ability to deliver user training on IT security best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills, with the ability to support users across all levels of the business
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and collaboration tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain high standards of documentation
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and contribute to continuous improvement
