IT Support Engineer III - STL Office

Job Summary
Provide 3rd line IT support for all office locations, including escalation for complex user, endpoint, infrastructure, network, and security issues. Establish and maintain processes for monitoring server, network performance, and security. Maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and Exchange Online while supporting virtual environments like VMware, Hyper-V, and Azure. Act as the local senior technical point of contact for the St. Louis office, managing office connectivity, meeting room technology, and endpoint issues. Work with 1st and 2nd line teams to improve escalation quality, documentation, and root cause analysis. Ensure all backup and disaster recovery processes function correctly. Primarily based in the St. Louis office with occasional travel.

- Windows Server 2016 and above
- Virtualization with VMware, Hyper-V & Azure
- DHCP, DNS, NPS, Active Directory, Group Policy
- Microsoft O365 (Exchange, Teams, One drive, SharePoint, Defender, In-Tune etc)
- Systems and Server backup Technologies
- IIS Server
- PowerShell
- Microsoft SQL Server Installation and Maintenance
- Experience working with SAN Technologies
- Experience working with backup technologies
- Good experience of managing firewalls, switches, AP's and other network devices
- In-depth knowledge of networking and security including, TCP/IP, OSI model, protocols and VLAN's
- Knowledge of server performance and optimising configurations
- Experience of implementing industry standard security principles across the server and network environment
- Works well in a team and by themselves
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Primarily based in the St. Louis office
- occasional travel to other Brand Addition offices for maintenance, upgrades, projects, and support that cannot be performed remotely
- Flexibility of working hours to perform maintenance and upgrade work

- Cisco, WatchGuard, Unify, and FortiGate switches and firewalls
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Experience in Server and Network Hardening
- Experience working with managed XDR solutions
- Systems monitoring tool
- Experience supporting ISO27001 accreditation
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Administrator Associate
- CompTIA Network+ or Cisco
- CompTIA Security+
- Fortinet NSE or WatchGuard technical
