IT Support Engineer

Job Summary
IT Support Engineer at DayOne who will support employees with hardware, software, and networking issues, participate in on-call rotations, and help maintain IT processes. Responsibilities include fixing hardware/software/network issues, handling IT tickets locally and for other branches, keeping security software up to date, maintaining an inventory of software/hardware/resources, documenting case studies and IT procedures into the knowledge base, and performing regular system/equipment/service inspections. Required qualifications include a degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent, experience with IT infrastructure/helpdesk, strong troubleshooting across software and hardware, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP), Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP, and familiarity with Microsoft Office and Windows servers. Proficiency in English is expected; Finnish is an asset. Willingness to travel within Finland and internationally is noted.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Experience in IT infrastructure/helpdesk
- Troubleshooting of software/hardware issues
- Knowledge of networks (TCP/IP, WAN, LAN, VPN, ADSL)
- Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS and DHCP
- Microsoft Office applications, Windows desktop and server OS
- Good English communication skills
- Finnish language considered an asset
