Job Summary

IT Support Engineer for Anthropic IT Operations: provide end-user support across macOS, ChromeOS, iOS, Android, and core SaaS platforms (Google Workspace, Slack, GitHub, Atlassian) with a focus on onboarding at scale, automation, and improving employee experience. Responsibilities include triage and resolution via ticketing system and Slack, on-call rotation, device enrollment/configuration, access management, cross-team escalations, and on-site support for AV/printing. Documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base maintenance; identify recurring issues and opportunities for automation; contribute to device management, identity/access systems, and scripting (Bash/Python) for task automation. Ideal candidates have 5-7+ years IT support, strong communication, macOS expertise, Google Workspace and Slack administration, multiple SaaS tools experience, SSO/MFA knowledge, MDM familiarity, and a drive to grow into more complex systems administration. Location: remote from Sydney with future Sydney office presence (hybrid). Visa sponsorship is offered for some roles. Minimum education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Hybrid policy requires 25%+ in-office presence; Remote from Sydney currently, with eventual office hybrid arrangement.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • 5-7+ years of hands-on IT support experience
  • Experience supporting macOS endpoints and ChromeOS, iOS, and Android
  • Experience with Google Workspace administration
  • Experience with Slack administration
  • Experience with SaaS tools
  • Understanding of identity and access fundamentals — SSO, MFA, directory services
  • Familiarity with MDM fundamentals and endpoint management
  • Experience with scripting (Bash or Python) for automation
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to develop deeper technical skills over time
