Job Summary
IT Support Engineer providing day-to-day technical support for employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and access-related issues; manage user accounts and permissions across platforms (Okta, Google Workspace, M365, Slack); deploy and maintain laptops and mobile devices; lead onboarding/offboarding activities; maintain inventories; support unified communications across Akur8 offices; collaborate with Security to uphold IT standards; contribute to IT process improvements across a globally distributed team; role requires proactive, service-oriented IT professional capable of operating in a multicultural environment in France.
Required Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in IT Support, Help Desk, Workplace IT, or a similar role
- Basic scripting or automation skills (Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Hands-on experience troubleshooting macOS and Windows environments
- Basic knowledge of network fundamentals (Wi-Fi, Ethernet, VPN, DNS, Internet connectivity)
- Experience managing user accounts and permissions within modern SaaS environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a strong customer-service mindset
- Fully fluent English, both written and spoken, and comfortable working in a multicultural, international environment
