Job Summary
IT Support & Cybersecurity Technician role supporting manufacturing and office environments. Responsibilities include monitoring security alerts and SIEM dashboards, reviewing antivirus/EDR/firewall alerts, performing vulnerability scanning and remediation, maintaining cybersecurity tools and secure configurations, documenting IT processes, supporting day-to-day IT operations, and assisting with workstation setup, software deployment, and network/server maintenance. Requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in IT/Cybersecurity/CS and 1–3 years of IT support or cybersecurity experience; ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance; strong troubleshooting, written and verbal communication, and organizational skills. Preferred exposure to manufacturing environments and cybersecurity frameworks (NIST/CMMC); entry-level certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+ are welcome. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or related field
- 1–3 years of experience in IT support, help desk, systems administration, or cybersecurity support
- Understanding of computer hardware, operating systems, networking, and cybersecurity principles
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. security clearance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Desire to grow within IT infrastructure and cybersecurity
