Job Summary
Install, configure, and update Linux/Mac laptop systems while diagnosing software, networking, or hardware issues. Provide on-site or remote technical support to a hybrid and international user base, repairing malfunctions and engaging with third-party vendors for specialized repairs. Support authentication systems like Google Workspace and LastPass, ensuring infrastructure software remains current and responding to IT/cloud requests. This full-time in-office role in Cape Town requires two years of experience with Linux, Vtiger, and cloud solutions such as AWS.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of proven work experience as a technical support engineer on Linux and Vtiger
- Google workspace suite of applications administration experience
- Experience with endpoint security
- Good networking troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of computer hardware and networking systems
- Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues
- Currently based in Cape Town
Desired Qualifications
- Relevant IT Degree/Diploma/Certification is a plus
- Experience with Cloud Solutions, ie, AWS
- Familiarity with POPI and ISO 27001 certifications is a plus
- CompTIA A+ and/or N+ a plus
