Job Summary
IT Storage Engineer responsible for storage platform management (NetApp, EMC Isilon/VMAX), backup platforms (IBM TSM, Cohesity), SAN switch management (Cisco MDS), data center operations, routine jobs and on-call duties. Will participate in system performance monitoring, log review, configuration and incident management, and collaborate with Solution/Enterprise Architects on architectural changes to improve high availability, scalability, and introduce innovative technologies. Requires documentation of changes for global operation reference, and willingness to travel to Micron sites and conferences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in information related fields
- Effective Chinese & English oral and written communication skills
- Experience manufacturing industry preferable
- IT-related training certificates preferable (EMC/NetApp courses)
- Strong analytical, problem solving and multi-tasking skills
- Interest in storage system maintenance and performance improvement
