Job Summary

Develop and maintain the Special Education Systems training strategy by designing instructor-led, virtual, and self-paced materials for ATLAS and SESIS applications. Deliver training sessions and webinars to DOE staff while creating user guides, job aids, and e-learning modules using Adobe Captivate and Microsoft tools. Evaluate program effectiveness through assessments and surveys to recommend continuous improvements and support user adoption initiatives. Collaborate with business analysts and technical teams to ensure content accuracy, participate in User Acceptance Testing, and maintain all learning management documentation in compliance with DOE standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Education, Instructional Design, Training, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience developing and delivering technical training for enterprise applications
  • Experience creating instructor-led, virtual, and e-learning training programs
  • Strong instructional design, presentation, facilitation, and communication skills
  • Experience supporting software implementation or system modernization projects
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, and end users
  • Experience evaluating training effectiveness and recommending continuous improvements

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting K–12 education or government agencies
  • Experience with Special Education systems such as SESIS or ATLAS
  • Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and adult learning principles
  • Experience developing multimedia training content, webinars, and instructional videos
