Job Summary
Assess and evaluate IT infrastructure regularly to ensure systems meet current and future business requirements while managing daily operations and providing ongoing technical support to end users. Install, configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer hardware, software, and peripheral devices, and administer operating systems, servers, and networks. Coordinate IT support activities for on-site and remote employees, manage multifunction printers, and configure backup systems to ensure data integrity. Maintain accurate records of IT assets and ensure compliance with safety and security procedures. This contractor role supports an automotive client in Meadville, PA, with a day shift schedule of 40 hours per week, weekend availability as required, and a duration of six months.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field
- 3+ years of related IT support, systems administration, or infrastructure experience
- An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software installation, and troubleshooting
- Experience with system administration, operating systems, and network support
- Knowledge of server management, backup solutions, and disaster recovery practices
- Experience with database, development, and internet-based software applications
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely manner
- Must be able to understand and comply with all relevant safety practices
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
