Job Summary
Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues to end-users. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, software applications, and peripheral devices. Monitor and maintain network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls to ensure optimal performance and security. Assist in the implementation of IT projects, system upgrades, and security protocols. Document IT processes, maintain inventory of IT assets, and provide training to staff on technology best practices. This part-time role supports the organization's technological infrastructure by ensuring systems remain reliable, secure, and aligned with operational goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven experience in IT support or a similar technical role
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems
- Familiarity with common networking concepts and troubleshooting techniques
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- The ability to communicate technical information clearly
Desired Qualifications
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP)
- Experience with cloud services and virtualization technologies
- Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Experience supporting remote users and managing mobile devices

- Preferred skills such as cloud computing and cybersecurity
