IT Specialist - Operations

Entry level IT Specialist - Operations role to document and facilitate resolution of IT and OT hardware and software support requests. Responsibilities include handling client support requests to repair, install, move, or change computer hardware and software, taking initial inquiries via phone or email, troubleshooting basic hardware/software/network issues, escalating complex problems, performing on-site or remote diagnoses, logging calls in the help desk system, maintaining asset inventory, updating documentation, and participating in a 24/7/365 on-call rotation. The role requires collaboration with IT infrastructure, applications, security, and PMO teams, strong communication and documentation skills, and adherence to privacy requirements. Education and licensing prerequisites include an Associate’s degree in IT or related field, at least 2 years of direct experience, SIDA clearance, and a valid driver’s license; preferred qualifications include additional security levels and airfield driving experience.
