Job Summary
Monitor system operations, apply patches and updates, and review performance logs to identify anomalies. Install, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot desktop systems, laptops, servers, and enterprise IT equipment within classified environments. Provide technical support for hardware, software, operating systems, and network connectivity issues while managing user accounts and system access requests. Maintain IT asset inventories, system documentation, and configuration records. Coordinate with cybersecurity, network engineering, and systems administration teams to ensure compliance with security policies and operational requirements. Support system backups, data recovery, and disaster recovery activities. Participate in system deployments, operational testing, and technical upgrade initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of prior relevant experience or Master's degree with 6+ years of prior relevant experience; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
- Experience supporting enterprise IT systems, technical support operations, systems administration, or help desk activities within government or defense environments
- Knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems, enterprise IT infrastructure, networking fundamentals, and system administration practices
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and customer support skills
- Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD, Intelligence Community, or classified operational environments
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies, cloud environments, enterprise collaboration platforms, and endpoint management tools
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices, DISA STIGs, RMF, and secure system configuration requirements
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, SharePoint, VMware, or enterprise IT management platforms
- Professional certifications such as Security+, Network+, A+, Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, or related IT certifications
