Job Summary
IT Specialist to provide Tier 1 and 2 technical support for office and field personnel, troubleshoot hardware, software, network and connectivity issues, support onboarding/offboarding, deploy and maintain laptops/desktops/mobile devices/printers, assist with asset lifecycle management, configure and support applications (Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint, Project, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Procore, etc.), manage remote access technologies (VPN, Duo, NetExtender, remote desktop), assist with cloud connectivity and field communication systems, handle user accounts and permissions, support IT security initiatives and endpoint protection, aid in project mobilizations and site technology setups, and collaborate with IT Manager on projects and documentation.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of progressive IT support experience
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Outlook, SharePoint, hardware support, and mobile device management
- Understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, Wi-Fi, and LAN/WAN environments) and firewall administration/troubleshooting
- Experience supporting users in a multi-site environment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the broader team
- Ability to work occasional after-hours and weekend shifts to support system maintenance, upgrades, emergency issues, and business continuity requirements
