IT Specialist - Identity, Access & EU IT Operations

On-siteSevilla, Andalusia, Spain

Full TimeMedium

Job Summary

Own the full IAM program across SaaS and internal applications, administering Microsoft Entra ID and enforcing RBAC/ABAC models while building automation scripts to reduce manual operations. Serve as the primary IT point of contact for all EU employees, managing the Microsoft 365 suite, Atlassian stack, and AI tooling like Claude. Drive hardware lifecycle management, including procurement, imaging, and secure decommissioning, while leading IT onboarding and offboarding to ensure day-one access. Monitor identity security events, investigate anomalies, and lead access-related incident response while maintaining compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR. This senior individual contributor role requires deep hands-on expertise in identity protocols and endpoint management, operating independently to support Power Factors' global renewable energy operations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years focused on identity and access management or security engineering
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD — conditional access, PIM, identity governance, and Defender integration
  • Strong working knowledge of authentication and federation protocols: SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, SCIM, LDAP
  • Proven experience administering the Microsoft 365 full suite, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, Intune, and Defender
  • Atlassian administration experience (Jira and Confluence) — user management, integrations, workflow configuration
  • Scripting and automation ability (PowerShell required; Python a plus) for identity workflows and IT operations
  • Demonstrated experience with endpoint/device management (Intune or Jamf) and IT asset tracking
  • Practical familiarity with AI productivity tools, particularly Claude — comfortable using, configuring, and governing AI in a business context
  • Ability to operate independently, manage competing priorities, and make sound judgement calls without close supervision
  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Spanish language skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with privileged access management tools (CyberArk, BeyondTrust, or Delinea)
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture principles
  • Familiarity with identity governance platforms (SailPoint, Saviynt)
  • Experience supporting audit and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, NIST)
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent practical experience
