Job Summary
Install, move, and maintain computing systems, applications, voice, and data network connections while supporting users and gaming systems across the Enterprise. Respond to incoming calls and requests regarding system problems, complete work requests from IT Management, and create documentation for all network equipment and user locations. Perform routine preventative maintenance on hardware and software, resolving issues in coordination with the IT Specialist II and Supervisor. Maintain current knowledge of information security policies and provide exceptional customer service to patrons in a friendly, professional manner. Adhere to a 24-hour schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays, while working within the casino environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older upon employment
- Must possess excellent communication skills
- Must have the ability to deal effectively and interact well with employees and vendors
- Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner
- Must be resourceful, utilizing all resources that are available to resolve issues
- Must demonstrate good judgment
- Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills
- Must be able to identify and troubleshoot problems quickly and efficiently
- Must be able to move through all areas of the casino as well as lift up to (30) pounds
- Must be able to maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude to work under pressure in a fast-paced, casino environment and effectively deal with customers, management, employees, and members of the business community in all situations
- Must be able to be approved for and maintain a valid Gaming license
- Must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays as required
- Employment is contingent upon a favorable outcome of a background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work in a noisy and smoke-filled environment
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience preferred
